I think there will be a big tournament at a casino in Vegas this week of Sep. 11, I cant remember the casino in Vegas but it is despised by most of the LV players. My wife cant make it with me on the Laughlin trip and my dad is having hernia operation so I might chicken out too with no travel partner. But I thought I would share my potential itinerary anyway. Base out of Don's Riverside Resort. 4 nights stay for $69 includes 2 breakfast buffets, 2 use as you choose buffets, awards banquet dinner, registration munchies and a gift at registration. The entry fee is $100 for BJT, it is a three day accumulation event and probably wont have much more than $1500 or so to first place, 2nd $750 etc. Also, on Monday at 12pst is their weekly accumulation play with $20 buy-in and 100% to winner of accumulation mini. The tournaments are 30 hands with $3000 in play money, 25 min 500 max. Dealt face up to the last card from single deck. If you use $25 average during regular table play they treat you very well as far as comps. Im pretty sure the Riverside BJTs wont conflict with other minis. MY goal here is to accumulate hours of tournament play, and they add up to a bunch. The players at the Edgewater and Avi are very good to boot.
