For those coming into Las Vegas for the TBJPA events in Laughlin, May 10th - 14th at the River Palms and don't have either a ride down or don't want to rent a car, I have found the Tri-State shuttle make three runs per day to Laughlin from McCarren airport (Las Vegas). The rates are: $45 one way and $75 round trip. Times are: From Las Vegas: 9:00 am, 12:30 pm, & 4:00 pm From Laughlin: 6:30 am, 10:00 am, & 1:30 pm The trip is between 1 1/2 - 2 hours, they told me to plan on 2 hours to be safe. Their number is #1-800-801-8687. As we get closer to the events maybe we can get members posting what time they will be arriving and set up some car pools (anything to save a few bucks...LOL).
I... havent rented a car for years. What would the price be for renting a small car for 5 days? It should require only one tank of gas for the round trip plus a little driving in Laughin.
Weekly rate I think it will be around $135 for a weekly rate plus gas. With another to split the cost or even a couple of others you might come out cheaper then the shuttle.
