I have already contacted all those with deposits up earlier in the week about todays deadline. Since we ended up two players short for this event I just CANCELLED it for next week (Wed. 15th/Thursday 16th).

The TBJPA /TBT events are still on and I hope to see all of you there for those tournaments.

I just wanted to post the $10,000 event was cancelled in case anyone was planning on coming down to Laughlin early to watch them.

I am thinking about trying this format with a $500 entry later in the year with a max field of 32 players, but I think this was may last $10,000 entry event, it was more headaches then I could have imagined...LOL

    I'm Sorry

Sorry for the unsucessful attempt Txtourplayer. What do you think was the real cause? I just wanted to say you are or have to be one of the most respected players/person that I have met on here. I just hope the $500.00 entry later this year holds up as well. Lastly, after having been accused of being bashful to you all, I have decided to really limit my participation in the forum. Ken and I had a war of words and it just didn't go to well. If I was demeaning to any of you all, the please accept my apology. I would say it is best to keep my comments to myself, rather than so-called belittle people in here. I do understand that we're are human beings and that we do hurt when people say things about us. This may not be the forum to discuss this topic, but ever since I have come to this site, I feel that many people have been disagreeing with just about everything I comment on. It's okay though Txtourplayer. I'm not asking for pitty from anyone, but Ken did tell me that there are cites in which I can disagree with people. He just felt that I was attacking people. To let you all know, if you ever saw me I am the most approachable, talkative, and non-arrogant brother you have ever met. I would open up doors for you, male or female. Hell, even say yes sir and yes man, as I was taught growing up. My point is is that Ken said there are sites that I can go to to talk more freely. God bless you all and maybe, just maybe I will write a one lined sentence again on this forum. Thank you ever so much for the people that are here and represent the wonderful game of blackjack. The main point: We all love the game of blackjack and may many of you have wonderful times at your tournaments and tables. Hit 21 baby.....

Tex: have you forgotten about cities east of the Mississippi river? We do have some pretty good size casino areas, if you would schedual some of your tourneys around here you might get some new players, it is just not cost effective to travel west (Nv. and Wa.) for 3 or 4 small events.

I have talked to several casino in Mississippi and Louisana, but no one is willing to confirm yet!

I'd love to get locations in both these states.
