I wish everyone the best of luck, especially poor Zweeky, who came JustThisClose to winning the first one!

Deb and I would be unable to play even if the Club hadn't decided that we're second-class potential members.
We're dealing BJ for a huge charity function this entire weekend.

Remember you can still book the cruise thru ClubUBT and participate in a weeklong event of tourneys for one low price.

Or just give me a call and I'll book you a cabin at 15% discount from the Club price, including $50 on board credits and a bottle of wine!

Now how's THAT for customer service!

You should give them a class on good customer service!

Quite frankly, Deb and I have talked about that option, and are probably going to pass.
Why should we pay to join something where we're obviously not wanted? :p

Now now, that's certainly not "totally" true.

Club UBT is pefectly legal* and open to all US Citizens* as a alternative to those gambling sites.

Besides you can bring your travel clock, keyboard holder and scooba on the cruise to show off and share with your fellow TBJ players. Think of all the fun we'll have discussing the benefits of competing in a 2500 player Barona freeroll! Just remember to bring the Club UBT kayak but leave the Club UBT tent home!

On the cruise you'll have 4 days at sea with lots* of BJT and poker tourney's to boot! Come on now don't delay - call today. Reservation agents are standing by

*exclusions apply see the fine print on the grain of rice for details.

We'd probably get 15 minutes into the cruise and find out that we can't play the tournaments because (pick one):

    1. We still live in an orphaned state

    2. We're not members of The Club

    3. We had the audacity to win "free" TV seats already and outlast Team UBT members on the show

    4. We each have a bad right knee

    5. Or maybe because we like brussels sprouts! :D

Who knows, they'll think of something!

Seriously, with their history of not revealing important and possibly negative information until it absolutely must be disclosed, I'm very hesitant to invest the $$$ on the travel expenses. If we did, and arrived there only to find out that we weren't allowed to play due to a reason that they did not think was important enough to reveal before we spent the time and $$$ for it........ :flame:

I'm SURE they'd let you play - I mean they said so right?

Has any representative from UBT ever said something then had to retract their statement? Heck No!*

Besides I heard BJ Mace is definately going - in fact I got a picture of his last BJ cruise and look at the fun HE had!

*This does not construe an offer to solicit a product. Rather than retract statements they simply cancel or change tournaments at the discretion of the tour director.
