    I'm curious about blackjack play to get into a tournament of this level also? I'm assuming it's out if my league, but curious none the less. My goal would be to take a % of a future win and play up at one of these casinos to get invited to these one of these bigger tournaments.

    I won this event 2 years ago so I was sorry to see it cancelled. Mirage and Mandalay Bay tournaments generally require casino play yielding a Theo (EP) of about 3000 for these larger tournaments. That's not quite 6 hours of Roulette play at $300 per spin played, or almost 3 hours at $600 per spin played. For Blackjack play, multiply either the time OR the wager by about 2.5. Events at Luxor or Monte Carlo require less. All are MGM properties, as is the Beau Rivage.

    Thanks Dakota! As expected, I'd have to be playing off tourney winnings to get this level.
