I'm still on the cruise, so I don't have time to fill in the details yet. However, a short mention will be enough to get most of you started on this one anyway...

Nine.com is holding another of their blackjack tournaments soon. They've increased the prize structure yet again, and this event will have $40,999 in prizes. It starts November 11th and runs through November 14th, but they also have an Early-Bird special that gets you two entries for the price of one ($50). You can sign up starting November 9th.

Nine.com is an online casino group including Betcom.com and Mybookie.com.

    "Casino Comp" at nine.com

I went to nine.com's web site and found that 4th through 8th place in the QUALIFYING ROUNDS of the tournament are paid in "Casino Comp". Does anyone know how this is redeemed? What is its value? etc.

I could call them to find out but I figured my fellow members would also like to know, so I am posting the question here.

    $40,999 Blackjack Tournament Final

I would just like to congratulate Ken on his 1st place finish in our tournament. This is not the first time and hopefully not the last that a member of blackjacktournaments.com has finished in the money in one of our great tournaments. Well done Ken.

    9com win

Way to go Ken. Couldn't happen to a more deserving or skilled player.

Just shows what goes round, comes round.

Someone who gives out so much good "free" relevant advice, deserves to demonstrate why they know so much.

Keep it up. If there's a vote. I vote you KING of Black Jack.

    Thanks TX

Thanks for the kind words TX but a closer look at my recent results would indicate that I probably don't qualify for the Queen of anything!

I'm still waiting for that "unbelievable run" that some of you have been having lately....

    Congrats Ken, well done!

    Queens

Can there be 2 Queens or do we need 2 Kings to be able to have 2 Queens ?

    Queens

    Norm:

Tricky question. In today's day and age anybody(male or female) can be a queen. A true queen not only rules with force, but benevolence.

Only one King necessary. Cause a true king can do whatever the heck he wants, to the subjects, to the queens, to whomever and he spits in the face of the gods.
