6 deck - How much is cut off?

Had my first online BJ experience yesterday. I played a 6 deck shoe with good rules at nine.com (surrender, S17, double anything, BJ pays 3:2).

From my understanding, a single deck game online is shuffled after every hand. Does anyone know, or at least have a reasonable idea, how shoe games are handled:

    1) Is there a new shuffle after every hand?

    2) If the answer to "1" is "no", then how many decks are cut off?

    Any help will be appreciated.

I'm pretty sure Betcom shuffles after every hand. That's the case at almost every game online, no matter how many decks.

Exceptions include Global Player and Cryptologic (multi-player game only).

I believe that the muti deck games at Global are not re shufled every hand .Even the multi deck for 1 player

Multi deck games at GP are about 80% pen. However, I have seen them shuffle much sooner on a rich deck.

Springback is right about 75-80 pen in Global tournaments. However, in their multideck games played in their casino, penetration is much lower - ranges from 40-45 percent.

    nine.com penetration

Thanks for the replies. With the limited responses, I decided to do my own analysis. Now, my analysis is based only on the cards I played in a "typical" session. It is not scientific, I have not gone through billions of hands, but I have been able to reach a conclusion about nine.com's 6 deck shoe game.

Not more than 2 decks are dealt before shuffling. It's possible they shuffle after every hand. I can't tell exactly when the shuffling occurs.

In any event, penetration is not very deep. What else is new? At least the rules are good and the site seems to be well run.
