2nd to final hand, 5-500 betting limits

    BR2 - 1095; Bet 500
    BR1 - 1535; Bet 400

    Cards:

    BR2 - Doubled to 17
    BR1 - A, 9
    Dealer - Ten

    What does BR1 do?

    Cheers

Double for sure, and you're a huge favorite. If the dealer makes 18-21, the match is over before the final hand is played. If the dealer makes 17, you're still in great shape if you made at least 17 on the double. If the dealer busts, you're in great shape.

    I stood...

    ...and lost!

I knew I'd made a mistake as soon as I did it! I just checked the numbers as well and standing was a respectable 76.97%. Doubling however was a massive 95.3%! What a dullard!!! Sometimes you can get too bogged down in detail and overcomplicate things.....

Repeat: I. Must. Not. Make. Schoolboy. Errors!

    Cheers
