    I am a newbie and read in Wongs book that if not BR*, with my opponents having a big lead with 5 hands to go I should look for additional DD's. I have added to my list thoes hands with a 49% chance of winning. 8 v 6. 9 v 7. 11 v 8. and soft A2 v 4,5. A7 v 2. A8 v 2 - 8. and A9 v 2 - 9. is this sensible.

Any advice would be happily received.

    At least these

These should be added to your list of double downs you need during the last 5 hands when behind by a lot.As you get down to the final 2 hands you criteria for double downs should become looser than a five dollar hooker in front of the El-Cortez, if behind by more than a max bet .

    Thanks

Thank you JOEP, this is just the sort of help I need as a newbie, I liked the loose hooker, but then I always did.

    *note:

Joep would never get one of those $5 hookers outside of El-Cortez.

Unless he had a 2 for one coupon or free match play...LOL
