    Hi Guys

I'm being plagued by spam, getting literally hundreds a day and I'm tearing my hair out! I've tried a couple of anti-spam tools but all they seem to do is filter spam and potential spam into seperate folders which I still have to go through to make sure it's all appropriate. Has anybody got any recommendations for software that can help me out?

    Cheers

    Reachy,

As I see it, you are using your real e-mail address for everything. What I do is setup a "DISPOSABLE e-mail address" when I communicate with sites that I suspect may be sending spam in the future or selling my address to others. My real e-mail address is only given to those I trust. With a DISPOSABLE address, once that address gets compromised and starts to get spammed I simply delete it.

Giving your address to on-line casinos is a sure way to spam hell. Also, anytime you buy on-line gets you to spammers really fast.

My Internet provider is Yahoo! and I don't know if others provide the DISPOSABLE addresses. As for software, ?????. Good luck.

Just think, in another year or two you may reach the "1,000 spam messages a day" level. What a great way to spend each day! As the soup Nazi would say: No more TBJ for you!
