Does anyone know if this once a month tournament is still being held? Oct 12 (Sun) Ameristar Casino St Charles - St Charles, MO High Limit Blackjack Tournament $100.00 entry fee. $9,800 prize pool. 1st=$3,920.00. (Open) Also, Harrah's KC is setting up a one time tournament for November with a prize pool of around $20,000 with an $80 entry fee. I'll post more info when I get it. Steve
I don't see any mention of it on their website, but a phone call might be a good idea. The last time this event was posted on our calendar here was in 2005. It appears that the Monday weekly event continues, at least according to the Ameristar website. Please let us know what you find out.
Ameristar Sunday Tournament This tournament has been cancelled due to lack of player interest. It was a great tournament but St. Louis area folks won't pay $100 to try to win $3,920 first place. The entire entry fees totalling $9,800 was in the prize pool. The winnings where not taxed or reported to any agency. Also inluded were 2 - $18 buffets per entry. Sometimes additional prizes where awarded by drawing. tgun
I put a termination date of 12/31/07 on the calendar listing of this event so it will no longer show up on the monthly schedule. tgun, The calendar shows a weekly event at Ameristar on Wednesdays called "21 + 3" that started 10/16/04. Is this event still being held?
