Anyone here familiar with blackjack21.net? They say they offer tournament blackjack. I can find so few external references to them, though, I'm somewhat skeptical that they might be a fly-by-night.
Bllackjack21.net==Blackjack21.com Well, it appears that these two domains are really one and the same. At least at one point passing through the web site the blackjack21.net URL turned into blackjack21.com.
Many of these vendors use dot net domains such as bet21 dot net partypoker dot net etc. Your risk to play at blackjack21 dot com free games is basically zero because the program is Flash operated which means you dont need to download the actual blackjack21 dot com program.
Whether you call it blackjack21.com or Blackjack21.net... Does anyone actually play there? Mostly I'm seeing 0 players. Tough to get a tournament going that way. Looks to me like the site is just getting on its feet. Tough boostrapping process, when the service you're selling requires opponents.
Tried it, could never get a game in my time zone (EST), quickly disinstalled and withdrew my money (they still took 10%). Their Customer Support is located in Costa Rica and it appears that their customers are mainly located in Europe. I figured I could not get a game because it's probably nightime over there.
Flash program blackjack21 dot com is run off Flash which is similar to java<I believe>. You do not have to download blackjack21 dot com, I never did, but some with PCs may have to download Flash Player which is a very good program. Flash is a standard program in Apple Macs. There are usually pay games running in the Pacific time zone evenings most players are PST. The free 10 hand game gets the most players, there were 5 when I just looked a couple minutes ago. They have scheduled tournaments two each at 5 and 7pm PST Monday and Thursday. The games on Thursday paid 180$ to first place at 5 and 7 pst. They have just signed a few affiliates and will have a few more soon.
No I like to play there very much tho. If you call them down in Costa Rica they will be glad to talk and are very upfront with info regarding policy and future of the site. If you are thinking of playing tournaments there I strongly suggest some free games to learn how to choose chips etc.
