I'll decide in the next day or so, but I'm leaning toward attending. I can put it together with the LVH Craps tourney and a small Venetian Slots&BJ Tourney. The only issue is the trip length to do all three. It's a ten-day run.
Already signed up..... can't wait until the tourney. Looking forward to the boxing match on Saturday.....Floyd Mayweather vs Judah fight... should be a good break from the tourney.

Can't decide if I want to take advantage of a couple of comp nites at Tuscany (they have some pretty good rules on their BJ tables including surrender with 3:2 BJ payouts) or if I should just at the IP. I did have a really nice room their last December, and it sure was convenient just going down the elevator to and from the tournament and the casino (that casino sure is a fun place to play BJ.......maybe it is 'cause I have won their my only three times really playing their). Looking forward to meeting all of you so I can put a face to a name (or at least a handle).

Getting together at the IP - Meet and Greet suggestion What say that all of us from this board try to meet at the Welcome Dinner Buffet that runs from 17:00 to 19:00. I will be there right at 17:00 and will try to commandeer the round table in the far South East corner of Royal Hall "A". For those of you who may get disoriented once inside a casino - that would be in the corner opposite to where the registration desk is when you first come in! For those of you who don't know me, I'm only 5'5", overweight for my stature, have a short grey beard and will be wearing an olive green hat from the Buena Vista bar in San Francisco. Am open to other suggestions though (re meeting each other - not the hat!!) Chips

Asking For Punishment!!! Chips, Ken, etc., Can a newbie/up n' comer (at least in my own mind) invite themselves to join the gang of tournament veterans at the IP get together? I have wide shoulders and could use some mentoring. I would be the perfect protege. Someone to kick while down, drag through the mud and verbally abuse, ha. IP tourrney: For Ken and all. U'all got my juices flowing. Went out of my way, way out on a limb, make or break a UBT appearance, but, with all ya'll bein there, I gotta throw my money down for the IP. 40 minutes, my stamina. plus 5 hands, who knows? Couldn't follow the directions to the table, maybe someone could put a "on line com." sign up, somewere. Really enjoy meeting anyone I could, or could put up with my falling down drunk habit without getting drunk themselves or not tsk, tsk'n, my actions. IP Tourney: TX: Registered thru casino office for $325 with stated $100 reentry. One of the last remaining "good" room rates even for frequent playas.
