I have received a letter today announcing the April, 1010, Win Your Table Blackjack Tournament VI at Fitzgerald's, Tunica, from casino host, Vikki Easterling. It will be held April 23-26. First place winner will receive $20,000 cash..guaranteed. It's a $300.00 buy-in with a $200 re-buy option. Seven places will be paid. Fitzgeralds It really stinks that this is the same weekend as Meskwaki. I know a lot of the St Louis people have been to both.
Fitz Tunica April Tournament I received an invitation last week that indicates the referenced BlackJack Tournament is scheduled for April 16th thru 18th. Also, the rebuys have been reduced to $150 and you can rebuy twice. RSVP by calling "Wheels" at 1-866-351-2518.
Usually doesn't fill up This tournament hasn't filled up in the past, but you never know. Usually you can register on Friday at the casino without a problem. This is a good tournament to play. You get two chances to advance for the initial buy in, and there are going to be two rebuy opportunities this year. They also draw lots of wild cards so even if you don't win your table, you might get lucky enough to get called for a seat in the semi finals or even the finals. They used to give rooms with the entry fee, but I don't think that is standard any more. There is an additional tournament being played the same weekend (April 17th) at Sam's Town and if you call now the room is included with the entry fee for Friday and Saturday nights. I think it is possible to play both tournaments, but need to check the schedules to be sure.
