Aruba Blackjack 2007 on Ultimate

Was just going through future blackjack tournamnets on Ultimatebet( Will be the same as on Bet21) and On July 1st is a Satellite for the Aruba 2007 here is details from the lobby:

I thought the Aruba EBJ was canceled because of sponsor pullout. I looked on their, ubt, web page and dont see any events for EBJ in aruba as well???

it is weird searched google and no reference to it, could it be they are offering a poker seat but with a BJ sat, in which case they really have worded it badly and it should have more info on it as says nothing about if airfares are inc etc like it says on the poker ones.

I told UB that I was willing to run the 100,000 TBJ event for a 10% vig - we're in negotiations as we speak :joker:

I figured since I didn't have to pay the EBJ royalty fee it was worth my while.

Sounds like the poker tournament which is around a $5k buy in. I doubt they'd have a $5k BJ tourney.

Is the same date as the Aruba Poker so that looks possible, Asked Joe P last night if he had any idea and was first he had heard of it so does not look like a UBT event.... Maybe its the Aruba Fred V Hollywood showdown tour :laugh:

Ok so none of us are sure what This Aruba Satellite prize is, But if you don't want to spend $100 to win this mystery then now there are $5 and $10 Satellite's to get into the main one now , Not only that but looks like July's Sat's for the $25k have all been cancelled so is this in place of End of July's monthly Biggie.....

I was happy to get my $102 for 3rd place last night - bought in for $20 not even knowing what I was playing for. Well, whatever we were playing for BJMace qualified last night

Was a fantastic night last night, Won the Aruba Sat, The $25k Sat, 2 x sit n Go's 3rd in the $1000 $50 entry and the cream was 1st in the $2500, Near on $1900 up on the night, I thought i would be able to unregister from the Aruba event for TD's but it won't let you, my worry is when i win the Super Sat on Sunday does that mean i can't cash in the Aruba prize, As I am leaving for a 31 day cruise L.A to Australia on Aug 31st that clashes with this event

Nice to see Ultimate actually decided to put up info on what we were playing for shame it was a day after the sat's were launched

Uhh, just checked the schedule and now I can't find the $100+9 sat. Did they pull it?

 

Aruba Super Satellites are now on THURSDAY at 8pm

I was asking myself the same question and discovered that bet21 now has it as the "Thursday Aruba Blackjack Super Satellite 8pm." Just another example of their great communication.

As Fred posted above from their site:

I hope the players who won an entry these last few days are available to play on Thursday.

 

They must have realized how sick the overlay was gonna be with only two days worth of sat's to the $100+9.

 

Wish I could figure out what is going ...??? I see tonights Super Sat is now listed as canceled but won't let you withdraw from the tourney. I also see there is another super sat listed for Thursday night with no entries right now. I sure hope I don't somehow lose my entry into this Sat. Does anyone know what's happening?
