AC are invitational Almost every tournament held in Atlantic City is invitational. Lots of players I know from back east would love for them to start hosting open tournaments.
Three weekly mini's at Trump Marina When this message board first opened last year, I asked about Atlantic City tournaments. I've continued playing monthly in Vegas and AC, but haven't had any luck finding tournaments in AC for anyone less than the highest rollers. Every few months The AC Hilton has a "Last man standing" BJ tournament. The object of that one? Be the player to win the most hands in a row and win the tournament... What a joke. I was in AC two weekends ago for the Paris Hilton hosted BJ Tourney - another joke. But, this past weekend I flew to Vegas for a small invitational tournament at the Gold Coast. On my flight I opened up my magazine and what did I find on the inside front cover of August's Casino Player? A full page ad for "The Deal at the DECK - Bayside Blackjack Tournament". Every Friday, Saturday and Sunday from July 2 through September 5 they hold a tournament on their deck at the Trump's Marina Casino/Hotel. Friday's 7-11 pm, Saturday's 7-11 pm, and Sunday's 2-6 pm. $20 Registration Fee gets 3,000 in tournament chips, 15 hands of BJ and a T-shirt. Each session's top 10 scorer's win cash. $1000 for 1st, $200 for 2nd, and $50 for 3rd - 10th. So, basically, buy a $20 t-shirt and get to play in a mini-bj tourney for free!
