When i rang they said that 1st is $40k+$10k TOC seat, They usually pay people who get into qtr's onwards. There is wild cards every round and an extra wild card table for another TOC seat.
I dont know Mace about the 40K to winner because the Barona page still says 50K tourney. I want to find if phone registration is available so I will check in with Barona and report back.

I sure hope that info is correct, mace, that you found on what looks like Play UBT web site. This needs to be cleared up soon. Fact is the Barona web page says its a 50K tourney. If it is a 50K tourney is that money paid, the 50K, to players and the 10k TOC seat is in addition? If not the players under 1st place will be sharing their portion of 40k
BTW, here is what Joep said about the wild cards. sweet! The wild card table is a go. ""The other 10,000 seat will be a 6 or 7 wild cards drawn and then they will play a one table tournament for the additional 10,000 seat. I believe it is single elimination with wild cards from round 2 and right up to the Final Table and then more wild cards for the 10,000 seat tournament.""
Yep that was same as last time from round 2 onwards they called out wildcards b4 each next round, Before the final table they pulled 6 or 7 wild cards for a play off for an additional TOC seat, Last time Skip and Tammy were amongst the players on this.
