In "Beat the Dealer" the Basic Strategy shows splitting a 2-2 or 3-3 against the dealers 2 or 3 card. In "Knock Out BlackJack" it shows hitting the 2-2 or 3-3 against the dealers 2 or 3. I assume this is based upon probabilities but was wondering why the difference in Basic Strategy?
Split (2,2) and (3,3) vs dealer 2 and 3 when double after split is allowed. If DAS is not allowed, then you should hit instead. That's probably the reason for the discrepancy in the two resources.
