Does anyone know if there is such a thing as basic strategy for tournament play as there is for single, double deck etc. I know a lot of strange things happen in tournament play such as splitting tens and I thought that someone may have come up with a chart of the best plays to make.

As you know in tournament BJ sometimes BS is correct and sometimes it is incorrect. As you also probably know the way you play the hand depends on what you need to accomplish, and since that is always changing it would be difficult to formulate a BS. What you want to do is formulate a strategy based on certain general situations e. g. when you are in a must win situation and you bet first with less money and your opp. matches and you both stiff your strategy would say "MUST ACT" I go into detail on this and many other points in my upcoming book. Good luck ( hint some of the biggest mistakes made especially in the maneuvering are players playing BS against the dealer when they should be playing whatever against the opposition.)
