Bet21 - Winning multiple satellites?

I won a second satellite last night for the $25,000 tourney. My understanding is that when that happens, you get paid $215 in Tourney dollars. However, the cashier page has no area that show how many Tourney Dollars you have, and I didn't have time to enter a new tourney and see if I really had the money.

I'm pretty sure there are others on the site that have done this with this satellite or the last one. Do I have to wait until after the 2/24 tourney to get credited with the tourney dollars?

When you are credited tournament dollars for the first time, a new line is inserted in your account page between the "real money account" and the "ultimate (or bet21) players club" sections.

    Send a message to CS

I won 2 satellites last month. The second one was duly paid in tournament dollars after they confirmed my win (I sent them the tournament ID number, date and time of day). Your tournament dollars will then appear in the right column of Cashier under "Review/Cancel payouts". It will read like this :

    Tournament dollars : 215

    :)

Thank you, Archie and others that replied. I'm surprised that this isn't automated, as I suspected it is for poker tournaments, but I guess this is entirely different programming on the BJ side.

UNBELIEVABLE! - Bet21 refuses to pay out for 2nd seat

So, I got this resonse from Bet21.com...

    > Thank you for contacting us and we apologize for our
    > late response.
    >
    > According to the Lobby Tournament Details for
    > TID735587 you won an Entry into the February 24th

I've sent them the following reply:

This situation occurs all the time in previous satellite blackjack tournaments and satellite poker tournaments for both ultimatebet and bet21. In all cases, people are encouraged to enter multiple satellites, and if they win a second satellite, they win the cash.

For example, another player I know won 2 satellites for the previous $25,000 BJ tournament held in January. He contacted you and you credited the $215 in tourney dollars into his account. This is STANDARD PROCEDURE on satellite tournaments on all casino web sites. There are no warnings on the tournament details that this is being treated any differently than any other satellites you have offered in the past, or that previous winners should not enter. I have entered three of these satellites since winning my seat originally, and now you are telling me that they were worthless.

I will be forwarding your response to the blackjacktournaments.com forum, which as you may know, is where a good share of your blackjack players come from. I hope you will choose to clear things up as soon as possible, and I will update this with your reply.

P.S. If you insist that all I have won is a second entry, then let me know and I will suggest a player to designate that entry for.

    ------------

P.S. If there are people that have relations with Bet21 and are willing to resolve disputes, please feel free to help out.

OTHERWISE - warning to those who have already qualified for the $25,000 tournament. DO NOT enter other satellites!

Look for people hoping on one foot...LOL

I would have to assume that the owners of Bet21.com (or at least their Customer Service personnel) are hoping on one foot, because they seem to keep shooting themselves in the other foot and over such STUPID things…LOL

It is ashamed that this happened to you Toonces, and after you just won the last $25,000 event they hosted. I would think they would want to keep their regular players happy for sure, especially when they are losing so many players now that they can't fund their accounts.

I guess with Bet21.com backing out of the March Aruba sponsorship that they may be hurting, maybe that is why they don't want to give you the $215.00 they owe you…LOL.

All kidding aside, the Bonuses are one thing, but this situation should be address now by Bet21.com! I know I was told that should you win more than one time you would be credited with the amount of the entry + fee that you won a second time.

Just curious why is it they can find the time to changes these rules, but not find the times to fix the bonuses?

All I can suggest is everyone send in a letter to Bet21.com customer service to have them correct this issue. This could happen to any of us, this is where we need to unite to have this problem corrected.

I want to thank Bradley Peterson, Hollywood, and Joep who have all tried to help us with the bonuses, but it looks like the owners of Bet21.com aren't interested in taking care of us.

I wonder if Las Vegas will put odds up on what happens first, Bet21.com stops serving U.S. players or they pay out the bonuses?

My guess is that the rules did not change but that you got a CS reply from someone who is not well informed. In the lobby of the upcoming satellites, we can still read "Additional wins will be credited to your account as Tournament Dollars".

Thank you Zweeky...since I got the reply at work I took at their word that the tournament description did not explicitly say that. I will e-mail them again with that (and perhaps will get a response) :)

    Understood, but...

It also said we would get bonuses. Now this is a different situation and Toonce has every reason to be up set.

As I suggested, if we all write into Bet21.com I am willing to bet this matter gets cleared up and very fast I should think.

We have to cover each others backs on situations like this. I already sent in my letter.

I appreciate your help, Rick, but I don't think I need to start a letter-writing campaign quite yet. As it is, their response has been a single email that (based on whaat zweeky posted) sounds like it was just misinformed, as opposed to a policy change. I contacted LVA (the affiliate I originally signed up with), and between them and my email, I would expect that this will be resolved soon. If it drags, however, you guys will be the first to know. :)

    Weasel words?

Actually, it says additional wins "can" be credited (see below). I don't know if it has always read like this. The way I remember it is you would be paid in tournament dollars for a second win. Has this been changed to create a loophole?

I sent an email asking for an explanation.

Surely this is just an uninformed customer service rep. Do keep us informed toonces.

    I hope so to...

But I really did send in a letter for toonce anyway.

Of course it will get resolved,,,

It clearly states in tournament details that extra wins will be paid in Tournament dollars....in fact that area encourages you to play often.
Printed right there in on their own web site.

What I cant understand is why I know that but someone who is paid to know it (hint CS)...not only DOESNT know but insted of seeking the correct answer continues the error by writing the customer a complete wrong answer. The answer is incorrect in the companies favor...Hummmmmmm

If this was rare then I would be unconcerned....

It is not rare though...in fact in regards to TD's it is common....I recently (last weekend ) made a deposit to get the deposit bonus offer. 10% of deposit in Tournament dollars instantly ...no exceptions at all....lol

I never got my TD's until after my second letter to CS. Why these dollars arent automatically added is beyond me...I wonder if they would fix an error like ths if my account was not being deducted funds???

CS service has been poor, unresponsive, and they certainly rarely resolve any matter without several followup letters where you are placed on the defensive by uninformed , uncaring, "experts".

Imagine how many people simply accept those false words as truth and forget about the problem...

Archies recent description of his deposit bonus correspondence mirrors my many efforts at getting a straight answer. In the end you must simply give up as they never do answer. You can review Archies last answer and in fact they never resolved anything....someone actually told the truth...they are not paying bonus dollars for BJ and they may be phasing that in....but does this answer anything really?

No...when are you phasing it in? Why did you promise it but now you are still doing nothing?

I like the game....but these sites are doing little to meet the needs of a customer who is having a problem...they are also breaking promises they made and continue to be evasive while answering simply to make a customer go away.

    Its getting really old.

    Great news!

I was hoping this was handled before tomorrows $25,000 tournament.

    Good News

Toonces glad to hear that issue was resolved, like I have stated before they really are trying to do the right thing for all of us. One or two letters to CS is not what solved this problem, the issue was looked at by someone other than the first line cs employee who didn't really know what the issue was or how to fix it.Once he went to his upper management, these matters are resolved without having to further complicate the problem with a few letters from parties not involved in the issue. The more paperwork they have to deal with the less time the have to eventually make this site run like a top.

On another subject it was a pleasure playing against you on Bet 21 the other night, and good luck Saturday night.Hope to see you on the final table once again.

    Now the "will" came back!

So I noticed. Apparently the Tournament Details for the satellite tourney were corrected when they updated it for the March 31 event. By the time I got the answer from CS (which was later that same night btw) Toonces had already posted that his TDs were credited.
However, after 3 letters I'm still waiting for Ken E.'s book, promised when I signed on last September.

Since I never got it either, I'm guessing that the book was linked to using a certain amount of your bonus dollars in their system. If you didn't play any poker, you probably didn't register to them.
