Ok folks, I just saw where this online site is having a BJ tourney coming up soon. I've never played on their site. They talk about daily qualifiers, etc. Has anyone here played at betchris.com? I mean how many sites are we going to have? First there was global, then BJ21, then AOL, bet21.com in the works and dont 4get ubt! I have trouble finding a sit-n-go table usually. How about setting a time when people can get together for events, like this Sunday poker?
BetCris is not real time. I know BetCris does a leaderboard only style of blackjack tournament. This means you play against the dealer by yourself and at the end of the day/week you see how you have done against others. As far as I know the only two sites that are online realtime blackjack tournaments up and running are Blackjack21.com and Global.
BetCris BJT I couldn't find anything on their site online so I called Bet Cris customer support. It was hard to understand the towelhead on the other end of the line, so Dicke Katz called them and found out that there are 4 qualifying days, Sept 6-9. $25 buyins, $15 rebuys. Each day 1st $2000, 2nd $1000, 3rd $750, 4th-10th win 2 office pool entries (whatever that is),but all 10 qualify for the finals Sept 10. For the finals they give out $12K for 1st, $2K for 2nd, and $1K for 3rd, and maybe a shtload of office pool godamits for the other placers but he wasn't sure about that. He said it sounded a goat in the backgroud, so he hung up. Hey, doesn't Rookie on Global do funny things with goats? Maybe he can find out more on this. IG
Towelhead? What's a towelhead? A person with a head made out of towels no doubt. Is there any similarity between a towlehead and a trowelhead? Or a trawlerhead? Towellegs? A handy person to have around when the dishes need drying I suppose. Can I become a towelhead? Cheers Reachy
BetChris format I actually played one of their tournaments many months ago, and was lucky enough to place third. If I remember correctly, the bad thing was that it was a blind leaderboard...no actual target scores were posted so it was a complete guessing game. I'm hopeful that it will have changed!
