I was just wondering and thought I'd get some numbers from our members:

Do you prefer to play in a TBJ that begins and ends the same day or over a 2-day period?

One or two days, either is OK with me. However, due to traveling time, tournament fees should include a hotel room for 1 night more then the actual tournament lasts. Example: A tournament held over 2 days should include 3 hotel nights.

That having been said, I think a tournament held in just 1 day is more desirable because it attracts more players simply for the fact that it can be squeezed into a weekend (without too much difficulty) without taking any time off from work.

My initial thoughts are that a 1-day event would be favored more by the local residents. However a 2-day event shouldn't be any different for people who live close.

Because of my location I have to travel to attend any BJT. Some of the tourneys are 1-day and others are 2-day.

Personally I would like for the facility to host two (1) tourneys back to back rather than holding a 2-day event.

For example at a recent 150,000 event at a Tunica casino was a 1-day event. That was nice in that it started at 9 am and was over by 7 pm.

However I would have preferred to have a 75,000 on Saturday and a 75,000 on Sunday.

Then there are events like the LVHMD event in which the monthly satellites are held with the main event in 12 months. I haven't played in that for other reasons, but casinos that hold weekly events where the winners come to a monthly event aren't that appealing to me.

    How about other players?

What I DO like is the concept of the Millionair Maker Tourney - having all the properties host tourneys in which the winners come together from around the country to Vegas for a BIG EVENT!
