Hollywood Dave and Annie Duke did a small segment on blackjack tournaments on Fox News this morning a little bit before 7 am pacific time. Annie Duke was the dealer and HD was one of the players along with the hosts of the show. They played a few hands with Dave and Annie explaining how bj tourneys worked. They both did a great job though the hosts on Fox didn't really get it.

Also nice job of promoting UBT.

Club Ubt - Club Ubt Alert!

The FOX and Friends segment really wasn’t that good, and not because of Dave or Annie but the hosts were dweebs and they had NO CLUE what UBT is/was.

for example the lead into the segment from the blonde bimbo:

"Blackjack fans stick around, two card playing pros reveal the trick of the game, you’re watching...."

Then they started with a video clip of Austin Powers playing BJ – that was probably the best part of the segment.

The male host read the promo right and talked about Annie and Dave being on UBT, airing in May, then he digressed saying,

"We talk a lot about poker but this is the most popular game in the casinos, blackjack"

From there it digressed. Dave tried to get it on track by saying that UBT invented EBJ, the coolest thing to happen to BJ and I thought it would get better but then in stepped the blonde bimbo

"Annie, you're the most famous woman poker player ...we go back to the WPT....and you're going to deal for us..."

Annie did her best, She mentioned Russ Hamilton, poker, blackjack, etc.. Annie sounded like a Bet21.com commercial in fact but she dealt cards at the same time. The type at the bottom of the screen was more informative than the stupid hosts.

The male host automatically just wanted to play BJ and started talking about BS

The ironic part is that HD played his hand and DD on a 9. The dealer, Annie played just like the "newer" Bet21.com dealer and draws to a 21 wiping them all out! HD then prophetically says, "It's rigged, it's rigged" Hmm Freudian slip?

HD did a good job of trying to bring them back to tournament strategy at this point but the two fox hosts were just clueless. For example the guy says, "You bet AFTER you see your cards?" He was serious! What a dork!

All the male host wanted to know was how to play basic strategy (BS) asking for the ONE rule to remember. The best HD and AD could say was always think the dealer has a 10 as their hole card.

Then the clock started ticking until the blonde bimbo started giving the segway into the break luckly HD blurted out

    GO TO CLUBUBT.COM

    WHAT CLUBUBT.COM? Not Playubt.com?

    Things are changing........

Didnt see the show but I feel for Annie and Dave....I have participated in a few interviews and newscasts....each time I was disappointed at how poorly it was reported and how far it was slanted from the truth....I always keep those experiences in mind when I watch the news now...lol

As for the one piece of advice to take away about always assuming a ten under ....???? Thats not good advice at all....in fact that is a very common error and a big mistake to always assume a ten under....Its only happining in a fairly dealt game 1/3 of the time. Dealer bust cards are another common mistake....there is no such thing as a dealer bust card...and while a 5 is the worst UP card for a dealer he will still make the hand more often than not....threrefore to call it bust card is problematic...

Had I been asked my one walk away rule would have been ....Complain first and then refuse to play in every casino with CSM, 6:5 BJ, 8 deck shoes....
