UK Tournaments Hello Reachy. I am from Manchester England and asked the same question when I first came on here. This site is American centric so don’t expect too many replies. The answer to your question is that there are no live Blackjack tournaments being held in the U.K. that I am aware of. There are also not many U.K. players on Global (Every time that we get a new player they seem to drop out for some reason). If we want live tournament Blackjack play in the U.K. then it looks like we will have to organise it ourselves. Believe me, I have thought about it but it’s a subject for another post. Good luck. Hi Andy Good to hear from you and I'm sure we've played together on Global where I am also known as Reachy. Thanks for the info. Have you played BJ in UK casinos? I'm going to the Grosvenor in Plymouth in couple of weeks to check it out, should be interesting although I'm sure our American friends would be shocked by the small scale and conservative approach of our relatively sedate casinos. I'd be interested in any developments in the UK tourney scene and it would be great if you did get something moving. I'm new to this scene but very keen and would be interested in playing in any live games. Might be fun to set up a home game or something but I guess that would involve finding other interested parties which seeing as how there is no UK-based BJ resource like this might prove difficult.
