    Looks like another series of blackjack tournaments are coming up at Nine.com.

    I just saw the notice in the message of the day there. The schedule looks like this:
    Dec 29th: Blackjack Bowl
    Dec 30th: Double Down Bowl
    Dec 31st: Royal Bowl
    Jan 1st: Diamond Bowl

    Each day appears to have the following prizes:
    1st=$2499
    2nd=$1499
    3rd=$999
    4th=$699 casino comp
    5th=$599 casino comp
    6th=$499 casino comp
    7th=$399 casino comp
    8th=$299 casino comp
    9th=$199 casino comp

    I expect this will have the same $50 entry fee concept as their other recent tournaments.
    I guess I'll be back to defend my title since I won the last one.

    Format & payouts?

    Ken it sounds like a good deal but, what is their tournament format? Elimination or Accumulation?
    How do have to play so much before getting your payout?

    I still don't see rules posted for this one. I wonder if it might be invitational. They've had one invite-only event recently I know.

    Anyway, I'm almost sure that it will be the same format as their last event. It's accumulation format. You pay $50 and get $1000 bankroll, $1 to $1000 betting limits and 50 hands.
    (One oddity: Splits count as 2 of your hands.)

    There is a leaderboard that gets updated when you finish your 50 hands. Unlimited reentries are offered, so it gets to be a shootout at the end.

    As for wagering requirements, the cash prizes last time had no wagering requirements. I won $9999 and was able to cash it out with no problem. They do have a $2500 limit on Neteller withdrawals, and a limit of one free withdrawal per week, $30 thereafter. Instead of paying the $30, I withdrew the win over 4 weeks.

    The casino comp prizes had a wagerthru requirement of 10x last time, in either the sportsbook or the casino.

    Still, with no posted info on this yet, it may not be an event open to all.

    Good news. This event is open to everyone.

    They've posted the rules and format details now. Just head to Nine.com and click on Blackjack Blowout Tournament.

    As expected, the rules are just like their previous events.

    These are open tournaments; the entry fee is $25. They reduced by 50% the fee and they increased the daily prizes. No qualifying rounds, no elimination; just a head to head competition. You can check the rules here:
