A regular on the tournament trail for years, Bob Conley from San Diego passed away in mid-December after a heart attack. Bob was well-known by many in our community here, and I send our condolences on behalf of his many friends here to his wife Jackie and the rest of his family. Bob will be missed by many.
Can't believe it! I'm totally shocked by this news because I just saw Bob in Vegas the week of Dec. 13th! Both he and I were amongst a few that played in both the LV Hilton and the Orleans BJ tournaments that week. He was kind enough to let me ride back and forth between those places with him. We ended up on the same first round table at the Orleans and he edged me out for second. I'll really miss Bob and the big cowboy hat. He was a true gentleman indeed! Billy C
