We had more players for this years Bahamas cruise booked by the first two months then we had for all of last years last years cruise. The problem is not all have paid their deposits yet. With the Harrah's Millionaire maker being held on the same week as the cruise we lost two players and others are waiting to see if they can qualify for the MM at Ceasars in August. At the current time we actually have a little less with deposits down then we had last year. I expect the interest to pick up the closer we get to the cruise from those that don't qualify for the MM event. Not to worry, the tournaments are still on. I just wanted to keep everyone going up dated and to let others know that cabins are still avilable.
Found players.... I just learned that several more players have booked for the cruise, but through their own travel agent. The problem here is that Carnival will not allow those players to play in our tournaments (unless they are part of our booking code). Carnival did the same thing last year, not allowing players other than within our group to play the tournaments. I guess they were scared they may lose money in our tournaments that they could lose in their casino instead...LOL Carnival did tell me that cabins are still avalible, but limited. We are working on the problem and once it is corrected I'll be able to post the exact amount of players going on this years cruise tournament as of that day. With these new found players we should have a bigger group than last year.
Late Cruise Booking Can I still buy a room for the cruise? I'll need to spend that Gold Strike money somewhere.
Your not going to Glod Strike? I guess your not going to the Gold Strike because that would be the only way you'll have any Gold Strike money left...LOL I'm not sure about cabin space Instagator, call Jim Thomas and see if they have any cabins left if you really would like to go next week.
