While I have found many books on playing blackjack I have not been able to find but one book on blackjack tournament play which happens to no longer be in print according to amazon (Tournament Blackjack by Stanford Wong).

Are there any good books to read on Blackjack tournament player, or casino tournament play in general?

The articles on blackjackinfo.com are very helpfull thank you for writting them.

You should be able to secure a used copy of Tournament Blackjack from Amazon or Ebay. While the book has weaknesses, it points to some valuable basic principles of tournament play. I would certainly recommend that you read it.

"Tournament Blackjack" is indeed out of print and has been for many years. But, the good news is that Wong republished all the information in that book, along with some craps tournament and baccarat tournament information in his book "Casino Tournament Strategy". And that's readily available.
One of the posters at this message board had an extra copy for sale on ebay recently. (Search this board for Casino Tournament Strategy.)

Or, you can buy a copy from me at http://www.blackjackinfo.com/catalog

    It's well worth the cost.

I am going thru Wongs book now. One weakness in the examples is he switches the betting order around sometimes in the same paragragh and this does not match the illustration. You need to digest each example sentence to sentence, I made flash cards to help me understand.
