i am extremely disturbed that our government can dictate the return of bookies and lousy las vegas odds by their internet ban. i suggest that we all boycott the worst bet known to man - the state lotteries. let's see what they do when they lose millions a week!

    who plays the lotteries?

Does anybody on here actually play the lotteries? I've never played the UK lotto and I never will. It always amazes me when I'm queing to buy some milk or something and there is someone in the queue with £100 worth of lottery tickets. I suppose the odds do go from 14,000,000:1 all the way down to 140,000:1 though! It's nothing more than a stealth tax which is paid, for the most part, by the poor. Well it is in the UK anyway.

    Cheers

    No difference

Same, Same, in the USA. I don't think that boycotting the state lotteries by the on-line gambling community will make any noticeable dent in the State's take. But a nice thought anyway.
