Can someone give me some advice on a possible business which was presented to me. Is this a business worth looking into. Here are some of the specs. As you know, I have operated XXXXXXXXX XXXXXX XXXXXXX since 1998. Each year I have experienced growth (Except for 2001 when the 911 incident occurred). During the past 2 Decembers (2003 and 2004) I grossed a little over $120,000 for about 6 weeks of work. I have decided to sell the business to pursue another venture. This is a good business, but I have been doing casino parties for more than 20 years, and I am ready for a change. The person who buys this business will have 100% of their money back by the end of December 2005 (In just a few months). If you want to buy this business, or you know of someone who wants a profitable business with not much risk, please let me know. -------------------------------- Assets Include: Business Name: XXXXXXXXX XXXXXX XXXXXX 30 Blackjack Tables 6 Craps Tables 6 Roulette Tables w/Wheels 2 Let It Ride Tables 2 Caribbean Stud Poker Tables 10 Texas Holdem Table Tops 175 Stools 1 Web Site W/Domain name 1 Database with existing customers Chips, Discard Holders, Chip Racks, Chip Cases 1 Voice Mail Line (Turn over account) 2 small Warehouses (Turn Over Account) 10,000 Brochures 2,000 Folders 4,000 Business Cards 1996 1-ton Chevy Van I would give the new owner 40 hours of training/counseling during the first 20 days of transfer of ownership. An Idea !! Maybe we can all chip in and buy this business. Then we can sign up to a membership to Griffin Det.Agency since we now are a Casino. This will allow us to have instant access to all the" bad guys" who run around counting decks down.As a service to all the "good guys" we will post all current flyers of these "bad guys"in case one of sees them lurking around.
Great idea! I've got 25% to put up! Actually this doesn't sound very legit. Quality blackjack tables go for $1,000 each (new), you know those craps tables are worth a few thousand each, and the truck is worth five thousand or so. What about chips? Will past clients come in to cash old chips? Or is this one of those private party/fundraising things? If it is, I can't imagine any fundraiser needed that much stuff at one time. If I was going to do fundraising I would buy a few tables and start off with my own company name instead of taking over someone elses reputation. Not to mention you'll need an army to run everything. Have you actually seen all the gear in person? Whatever you do, don't send anyone any money until you at least see the goods for yourself.
How Much? My eyes could be playing tricks on me, but I don't understand the asking price. Is it 30k with an extra 0 added by mistake or is it 300k with the comma in the wrong place? There is quite a large difference between the two!
Come on guys! He isn't selling a casino, it is a casino company like what I own and operate. We put on fund raisiers and corporate parties. Make me a fair offer and I may sellout. I have 85 Blackjack tables, 6 Dice, 5 Roulette, 2 Caribbean Stud, 2 Let it Ride, 3 Three 3-card poker, 2 Baccarat, 25 slot machines, 8 Hold'em, 2 Money Wheels, Bingo, Horseracing films, and Horse & Nascar table games.
I just need a few complete blackjack table setups. Got anything? I'd take something in less then average condition for just home party use. Yeah I didn't notice the extra zero up there either. It must be 300,000. $30,000 seems awful low.
How many? No problem, let me know how many you want or need. Would you like sit down or tall, 6 spots or 7, what color cloth? I can hook you up. I have a full size dice table I am willing to sell at a good price (out of a Las Vegas casino). It is currently set up in my garage.
