Hey guys, hope i'm posting this in the right place. I have been an online BJ player for about 10 months now but recently visited a localish casino, the house edge seems high and i was wondering if someone can help me calculate it? Details: European BJ (no holecard) 6 Decks, delt about4/5 deep. BJ pays 3:2 Stand on all 17 double after spilt allowed No surrender Splitting acesnly 1 card and no 3:2 on BJ only double on 9, 10 and 11 only. Does 0.64% sound about correct? I dont think that is including the splitting aces rule, how much does this change it? Thanks Adam
Wizzard of Odds I checked http://www.wizardofodds.com/blackjack and subtracted an additional .11% for the Euro no hole card rule. I came up with .612%. A little more in your favor than what you'd calculated.
Another reference point Adam: Ken's website www.blackjackinfo.com also has a calculator unde the link "basic strategy engine" with various options on it for different rules. It shows the number you calculated .64%. It also provides a basic strategy chart you would probably find useful if you play under these conditions. Pat
