Cancelled Aruba BJT

I was wondering it anyone was informed of WHY the BJT was cancelled? I figured that since Bet21/UB.com had leased the UBT rights they would be allowed to host an EBJ tourney also.

Their satellites were done well but the whole thing just vanished - POOF (kinda like the UBT commercials and Phil H)

So what gives - Hey Pit Boss where are you?

 

Well, the satellites were cancelled and the prior winners were credited with $5500 cash instead. A nice take for Monica who won the 12-person $109 satellite the day before the Venetian UBT event.

 

No ACTUAL annoucement but:

Removal of the BJT from the promotional page
No response when questioning from CS
yanking the tournaments
no listing of ANY BJT on the arubaclassic website

So I assummed it was cancelled. I mean airfare is REALLY cheap but I don't want to fly down there to play in a BJT and find out all they have is poker! :flame:

Of course since they abruptly ended their monthly 25,000 event (they still advertise the May 25,000 on their website) it's been all downhill at Bet21.com!
