I'm really not wanting to get into a pissing match with Carnival cruise line, but the $100 credit per person and 25% off a future cruise before December 2007 just doesn't make up for missing out on getting to see the Bahamas last week.

Every person that went on the "Bahamas" cruise was expecting to stop in the Bahamas, not run into the inland and then have to leave.

I selected this cruise so we could see the Bahamas and get to see the Atlantis casino. Since that was taken from us I just feel Carnival should reimburse us more than what is being offered.

The port fees and taxes were $159.00 per person which since we didn't port in the Bahamas seems like we should get most of those fees and taxes back plus more.

Do I expect we should get a new cruise paid 100%, NO! I would like it but I think 66% to 75% off a future cruise is more than fair since it was human error and something that has happened before (on the same ship and within a month).

I contacted a maritime lawyer to check on our rights as passengers and what options we have against Carnival cruise line.

If Carnival will make us a fair offer (for the passengers on this years BJ cruise) I will re-book with Carnival next years BJ cruise, if not I think it is time we find a new cruise line.
