Our member FMike756 took first place today at the IP Biloxi event. First place paid $52,500. Nice payday for the wildcard! Way to go Mike! Joe Pane also continued his amazing recent run of success, finishing third in the tournament. If you'll recall, he won first place last time around. The event drew a big crowd, of approximately 250 players.
Odds for Wildcard winner at Final table? It seems like the odds for the wild card winning the final table are higher than 1 in 7. I wonder if you play more aggresively than people who fight thru the rounds to get there and that helps you win? It might be an interesting study. Nice win Mike! Pat
Thanks BJT members for the recognition. Everything seemed to fall in place, from the wildcard draw to my BJ on the last hand and the dealer drawing to 21. I think I played well but, the casino gods were watching over me. Thanks again
