Gflan (aka: Luckygem on Global-Player) won her first land based tournament this passed Thursday at the Fiesta in Henderson. Watch out, looks like the Queen of the online tournaments is now looking at bring her winning ways to the land based casinos as well. Great job, I got to watch her win first hand and she played GREAT!
Ditto She did an amazing job at her table at the Hilton too. She was able to force BR2 to double his hard 17 when she doubled her last hand and drew to 20. Unfortunately BR2 drew a 3 to get to 20 too. Then the dealer draws out to 21 and cleans the table..... :sad: Better keep an eye out for her in the future, I'm sure she will be force to be contended with!
Thanks Guys I sure hope that was the first of many land-based tourney wins! It was great to have some of my friends there to share my first win. It will be an evening I won't soon forget! Thanks to Jackaroo for giving us a ride over to the Henderson. Looking forward to seeing you all again next month!
