I want to be the first to congratulate my buddy Roger (Skip) Samad on his hire at the MGM casino in Las Vegas. Skip will begin management training next week and I'm sure he'll do great, best of luck my friend.

My Thanks... Blackjack Friends: Thank you for your kind words and congrats... I'm obviously very excited about being a member of the Management Team at MGM Mirage Resorts. It was quite a challenge to get my foot in the door, but I think that my past experience in facilitating training combined with my supervisory/leadership experience leading over 250 Marines helped tremendously. I'm hoping to position myself for a Director or Manager of Training Position at the City Center when it opens in the Fall of next year, as that's where my passion lies. I've always enjoyed empowering others in order for them to acheive greater professional success... The moral to this whole thing is to NEVER give up on your hopes and dreams, because I'm an example of one who has realized a dream that I've had for a long time, finally come true!
