Since you ask about setting up an account, I'll assume you are talking about playing online blackjack tournaments.

For completely free tournaments, with a chance to end up on TV playing for real money, check http://www.playubt.com.

For pay-to-play tournaments online, your choices were sharply reduced by the recent law that passed. The only place left that accepts US players is http://www.bet21.com. You can also try their free software at http://www.bet21.net where you'll find some freerolls similar to the PlayUBT choices.

As for land-based tournaments, they vary widely. Most require an entry fee, some are open to all participants while others are available only to invited guests of the casino.

If you need further clarification, ask a more specific question and you'll probably get plenty of answers.

    Welcome to BJT!

Black Jack 21 still offers a tournament game. They are often forgotten whicjhis shame really.

It would be great if they offered a format more like the software that Golden Palace ran but actually the game at 21 is good. Its limited but very fair and fun.

Im was spoiled by Golden Palace choises and the tab system to choose games etc...but thats gone for now so....

Anyway...Black Jack 21 is another choise ...they have free games and free rolls ocasionally ...in fact Wed there is a victory point free roll as I see in my most recent email from them.

Also some kind of cruise tournament...I have to explore the site more as I have been away from it myself for a while....

They are still offering a game though and I always found the site fair and with few problems ..most of which were always dealt with by a customer friendly CS department.
