Bobbie and I are wanting to see the Mayan ruins while in Costa Maya. There are two: 1. Chacchoben ruins 2. Kohunlich ruins Does anyone know which are the best to go see?
Bummer I was hoping you would be able to go to Tulum when at Costa Maya. Costa Maya must be closer to Belize than I thought. I've been to Kohunlich and they are very nice but not as cool as Tulum or Chitza-nitza (sp). I've never been to Chacchoben so can't tell you anything about those ruins. Word to the wise- Bring some mosquito repellant if you go to Kohunlich. They're not real bad but bad enough to be a pain.
Vise-versa I check on the Tulum ruins and those you can see from the Cozumel stop, so maybe we should swim with the dolphins in Costa Maya instead and see the Tulum ruin while in Cozumel.
