Would it make any difference if a casino used a CSM for tournament play or a shoe(4 or 6)? The differences I am thinking about would deal with play and betting.

    I perfer shoe

I would rather play a shoe dealt tournament. I think you can get a better feel for the cards than with a CSM.

CSM or shoe game really wouldn't effect what your bet(s) would be on later hands or the last hand of a tournament, you have to bet according to your situation.

Okay. I got on here today and can't stop typing, so I'll throw my quarter in the pot on this. I agree with TX. Numbers people laugh at the "feel" or whatever u want to call it. Some players "comfort level" includes feel and that's not much different from the poker world's "instincts" no matter percentages.

To me CS's...tourney or open play are the equivelent of slot machines. I don't believe AP's or counters would ever play a CS. Now in tourney, with a CS, you could really incorporate the K.S. theory that all player outcomes on a particular hand are similiar, leading to the "always a better bet." And that certainly is the current standard. So, where does one go for the additional edge? In the short handed tourney format, if one believes their "instincts" are the edge, then they have to go for that. To me, that's no different than taking a blind double down on a stiff, just because, that's the only way "u're" goin to win, or put the pressure on the subsequent playa.
