Now that it has been posted that Ken E. won it, I would like to add my congrats. (and to all that even made it to the final table) Stanford said in an interview that his goal was to "win it or bust out trying" (he didn't) He also said that failure to him was "to not win it and have unbet chips". (he did) BUT, he was always in range AND he did have a chance to win it on, the last hand. That is about the best you can hope for........... So did he fail ? Should he have been more aggresive and tried to put it away ? Do we need two methods of play ? One to get to the final table and one to try and win the final table ? Or do you just dance with who you brought. (stay with what got you there, in the first place) Like Mike, I am looking forward to Ken's rundown on it.
Out Played Without giving a specific grade to Stanford,I believe he was outplayed in that round. His motto of have the lead or bust out was no where to be found.
A little too laid back! Tend to agree. Tournament experience in the end was more important then math & stats knowledge. Few tournaments are won by sitting back, being passive and hoping for a dealer bust on the last hand. KennyE was aggressive and made things happen for himself. "Go big or go home!"
