Disappointing At the IOC Bettendorf Big Bang BJT First problem was there were no "Special" room rates. If you had time on a card it was $106 for a standard room per night, for the March Madness it was $99 for the weekend. Second problem was as discussed for the March Madness was the format, the IOC believes their clients like this format. It is a fun accumulation but if the out of towners stay away you get this type of turn out. Third problem is the IOC Bettendorf caters to it's local tournament players and the quad city economy is in the tank like so many others. I thought there might have been a few more hardcore players, I guess I am glad I didn't make 5 hour one way trip.
