I've been solely playing poker until now, but I'm getting hooked on Elimination Blackjack. Are there any books anyone can recommend? I know the game is new, but maybe there is a relevant book to get the basic strategy down at the tournament level. Thanks, -rich
Here's pretty much everything available at the moment: Casino Tournament Strategy by Stanford Wong Play to Win by Ken Einiger Subscribe to All-In Magazine. Subscribe to BJ Insider, an email newsletter with tournament content monthly. Check the Tournament Strategy Articles here.
forum "Play to Win" 2nd ed. by Kenny E. Make sure you get the 2nd Ed. though because that has added EB info. Only read 1st Ed. so don't know whether it's any cop. 1st one was OK. Other than that, current bible would be "Casino Tournament Strategy" by Wong. Getting dated now but a must read. Bait breath for Ken S's book coming this millenium Cheers Reachy PS. Good luck with the forum, I'm sure Ken won't mind you linking to it from here.
Thanks for the quick reply. I have been reading here. Some great information. I'm about to do a bit of traveling and wanted to stock up before I go I'll check those out. -rich
We're waiting for BJ Legend Ken Smith to let the ink dry on the page! In addition rumor has it that Sir Reachy is colaberating with Flat Eric for their own EBJ book entitled "Dancing to the Elimination Flat Bet!" Fess up is this fact or fiction? :joker:
Play to win - Second Edition Is Einigers Second Edition really so good, that one has to have it? I mean, how good is the stuff about Elemination BJ? What does he write on that? Does he work with statistics and figures? I have read his first book and it was okay because it summerized the basics. Ken`s article was very good. And wongs bible, the best book on tournaments. Will he write something on Elemination Blackjack soon? I am also waiting for Ken`s book! Sirklas
