I just read online that we shouldn't join an online gaming site that isn't eCOGRA approved. bet21.com isn't eCOGRA approved. Any comment on this?
eCOGRA was a good idea, but it was apparently put forth by some of the founders of the Microgaming software platform. They never managed to get buy-in from the online casino industry at large, and with the exception of 888.com, no non-Microgaming casino was ever approved. It's a shame that industry-wide acceptance never happened.

newbie: i , sence quite a bit of concern on your behalf, about joining bet21 as a paying player (correct myself if you have already done so). this is well justified for yourself. yet, i would hope, that by being on this site, you would have gained some knowledge and trust about the posts by various members. yes, there is kidding around and the occasional mud slingling. yet, i have found that everyone is generous in helping others, while giving straight forward advise. this is rather rare in the business world. to which, this is to many of us on this site. bet21 and blackjack21, are are only venues that we have. i have had zero problems with both sites. i do believe that if bet21 wanted to "screw" their customers, they could do so without much repercussion. what else, and where else are we to go to play on line. so my friend, it not having joined bet21 as customer, do so. sail with, or go down with the ship. good luck!!!!

WOW, I feel better knowing all these sites are eCOGRA accepted. The fact that we can't play anymore reguardless of if they are approved or not doesn't matter, is what was bothering me...LOL.
Hey man, you have our advice. Take it our leave it. Your choices are: 1. Play on the only sites that allow you to in the US. 2. Don't. Don't get mad at us because you don't like that.
Did you even bother to read my message? I'll say it again... 888.com is THE ONLY NON-MICROGAMING CASINO ON THAT LIST. Since eCOGRA was formed by one of the main people involved in Microgaming, I'd say getting one token casino that doesn't use their software to sign up is not "Industry wide acceptance".

Olive Branch Newbie, We all make mistakes and sometimes post crass and insensitive comments on this site. Maybe my joking reply to your post on the illegal gambling thread may have upset you given your response to marichal. Something appears to have got at you to make such a statement and if it was anyway my fault then I will apologise. You see Newbie, it is not that hard to apologise.
