Rick, Congratulations on the fine article published in Casino Player Magazine. It gave a thorough coverage of TBPA and some excellent pictures of recent tourneys.The coverage should also provide promotion as well as advertisement for TBPA. Wish I could play some of your tournaments but it is difficult for me to travel with this chair.
Thanks Mike I'd like to thank Henry Tamburin, he did a very nice job on the article (and special thanks to Dr. Bass who helped on the editing). For those that haven't seen this months (November 2007) Casino Player, Henry wrote a very nice article on the TBJPA and they posted a couple of my pictures as well. After the article, I did receive several phone calls from interested players from around the country and even a few from out side the US, however because of the timing (just a couple of weeks prior to the Tropicana tournaments) we only got one extra player. The three things in common with everyone that called were: 1) They loved the open events! 2) They all asked me how they can find out about tournaments? Not just mine but any BJ tournaments. Two of the callers lived in Las Vegas! 3) They liked my concept of trying to standardize the tournaments.
You can read one free issue online without subscribing but the issue in question is November and thats not available online yet, October is the current available issue online.
