What a contrast and breath of fresh air after the Grand Casino fiasco!

Adolph and the staff at Fitzgerald's Tunica put on a first class event. The registration was efficient with plenty of great food and drinks at the reception in the registration area. All rooms were comped, and we were given coupons for the buffet.

The tournament went off without a hitch. All registration fees were put in the prize pool and the $25K in promotion chips were an overlay. Every round started on time and the prize money was waiting at the final table for the winners without any wait.

I especially enjoyed it because I got the wildcard into the finals and won the tournament.

Adolph says they plan to do it again in the early Fall.

Congrats! You've been on a great roll lately!

Glad to hear the Fitz event came off well, though I had little doubt of that. Adolph and crew are definitely the good guys in Tunica.

    Congratulations Moses

Don't matter how you make the finals as long as you get there! Congratulations on todays win!

I heard from another player that a player at the final table had a pencil and paper and was writting down totals, was this true?

    Fitz Tourney

Congrats on your win, keep on rolling. I agree with you on the tournament, it was a great event. And Aldoph pulled it off with a fairly new staff. The boys at the Grand ought to go to the Fitz to see how to run a bj tournament. With only 100 players I didn't mind the hybrid format that much (it helped that 4 out of 6 from stl made the semi, I made it but my wife missed). I wasn't to keen on the promo chips but I turned my 500prmo into $700 cash.) Hell it's mostly luck anyway!

We're looking forward to the next bj tournament at the Fitz in Oct.

    Pencil and Paper

Yes, a couple of players at the final table used pencil and paper to record the countdown after hand twenty-two. I didn't complain because the guy next to me shared his notes.

Interesting asice -- at the Millionaire Maker Qualifier finals in New Orleans last month, they provided us pen and paper to make notes.
