I just learned Howie the tournament director for the weekly BJ tournament at El Dorado in Shreveport, LA suffered a mild stoke. He should be released from the hospital today. I was told he still has some numbness on his right side and is still having back and sciatic problems. He will have a home care specialist come to his home for rehab treatments. He be off work for at least a few more weeks, but I was told he is doing much better and they expect him to make a complete recovery. Howie is a very nice man and really enjoys running the tournaments, he'll sing the during the rounds and just have fun with all the players. We need more TD like Howie.
