Everyone should consider playing these monthly BJ tourneys. Once you get by the qualifying stage ($50 live money), it's a great game. The semis consist of five players who are given $100 each. You keep your balance when it's over, win or lose. Surrender is offered. Unfortunately, you can only do so against a 10 or ace. If you survive this, you get to play "heads up" against the GameMaster. I've always wanted to play one on one, and I got to battle the GM this month for $2000. A nice option at Global is that you can review past tournaments, hand by hand. If you want to see who won this match, you can do so by logging into the casino and clicking on BJ. Then click on multi-player and locate tournament review (you can choose the semi-final or final round), and then choose which match you want to check out. I'm going to check out both rounds to see what errors I made. Feel free to critique my play. If you haven't loaded this casino yet, you can do so by using the link Ken provides on his sites.
Congrats Walt! Walt, you've been on an eviable roll lately, taking first place at the President Biloxi two weeks ago, and now the championship round at Global Player. Among the many tasks I hope to complete after returning from vacation is the posting here of the details of Walt's match at Global Player against the GameMaster. If you can't wait, here's my affiliate link to Global Player: Global Player After downloading the software and registering, you can view the details of Walt's victory, as well as all the previous tournaments at Global Player.
Tournament replay For some reason, this month's replay is not yet available. Hopefully it will be soon.
Question about semifinal payout Have the rules changed since this thread was started? I am trying to figure out what the payout is for the semifinalists table. Walt implies you get to convert your chips to bonus. I thought the only payout was the winner gets to play the Gamemaster head to head for the rolling jackpot. Can someone enlighten me? Thanks. Pat
Semi-Final: The 5 semi-final participants will receive a bonus corresponding to their semi-final end balance which starts at $200. In addition, the winner moves on the final against the GameMaster.
Thanks So instead of playing with "tournament chips" you are in effect playing with "bonus dollars" which you get to keep, just like in a real money tournament. That is cool! Thanks Ken for the reply. I may have to try playing the GMO more often!
