So much for a Million Dollar Tournament! Guess no Million Dollar Tournament at the Golden Nugget, this year anyway. Wonder if the World Series of Blackjack will still be held there next year?
What IS up with MD 4? Joe -- Was it you or Kenny E that's been pretty closely involved with the move of the MD tourney to the Nugget... any updates on how this sale affects the move? -hd.
Several affected I know of several people that this sell will affect, from employment stand point and all of us players as far as hosting any new tournaments. If the Golden Nugget does start a new Million Dollar Tournament it won't be within the next 6 months. I was waiting to announce the Stardust is going to host a May 15th - 17th Blackjack tournament until I found out if the Golden Nugget was going to start theirs. But now it maybe the only other one being run after the Las Vegas Hilton Finals in May (on the 12, 13, & 14th). At least players not qualified for the LVH MD III will have one tournament to play in during May.
