There is four BJT.com members who will be trying for seats in the WSOB today in Washington at the Lucky Eagle Casino. The four players are: Thrasht Stormy - (She has two spots she won for today) Marichal Leha Best of luck for all of you!
Lucky Eagle update... Thrasht just called me with the latest WSOB qualifier at Lucky Eagle. They are in the semifinals and Stormy, Marichal, and Leha are all still playing (5 tables with 5 advancing), and they still have a shot at the wild card into the finals should they not advance this round. I'll up date their progress as I hear anything.
Luck with an edge: I don't believe there is anyone with more credibility than Ken Smith. There are two unnamed frequent past and present posters on this site that are tied for second. That said to endorse his Video Poker package. Which ironically I won't get, goes I've gotten it all seperately previously and now I just have to find THE MACHINE. Of all the valuable info in the package, one statement Ken made in the promotional write up stands as important as "The System" itself. And that is the comp rewards, no matter what you win on the machine. And Jean Scott is testament to that. I even asked Ken once, why the Casino's don't ban her and her better half with all they've won, yet still continue to reward them with outlandish comps. Where as A SUSPECTED advantage BJ player one gets 86'd. If I recall correctly, Ken's response was a shrug of the shoulders. With proper bankroll to play time to payout(detailed I'm sure in the system) here is ONE SYSTEM of value to everyone, with so far, no fear, no edge of shadiness. This is an unsolicited, unpaid endorsement.
Close but no cigar! Well Stormy was the only one to win her way into the finals tonight. I heard she had a shot on the last hand with a DD, but the dealer kill any chance she had with a last hand BJ of her own. Stormy ended up coming in 3rd, but a hell of a lot closer to winning a seat than most of us so far. Congratulations Stormy, wish you could have won it all tonight but you still made a great showing for BJT.com.
thanks for posting the update at the lucky eagle today. i came close, getting nailed on a dd (drawing 20), while the lovely dealer pulled a 21, in the semis. kind of the bad beat of blackjack. stormy did a great job, getting to the final table. really thought she had the ticket to ride to the promise land. then, quitting her job and living the life of riley. close but no cuban cigar. there will be another day. see you in tulsa!!!!!
Close but No Cigar Continued Leha, who won three different tournaments this week in WA State, never won a hand in her round dooming her for a wildcard chance that never came. Marichal played a great tournament thru the opening rounds and quarterfinals but was doomed in the semi's when he was sitting on a 20 (all-in) while the dealer drew to the dreaded 21. No wildcard came for Marichal either. Storm also played a great tournament making it into the finals (no wildcard). On the last hand Storm was BR3 and put out a max bet, drew a hard 14 to the dealers ace. BR1 was dealt a blackjack and took even money. Storm was going to double her hard 14 (you gotta do what you gotta do circumstances) but never got a chance when the dealer flipped a blackjack and BR1 won the trip to Vegas. You played great baby. See you all in Vegas next week or Tulsa next month.
