Joe Pane just posted at LVA some interesting and promising news for 2009

Here is his list of upcoming tournaments at the Las Vegas Hilton and others he is working on. Good Luck Joe

    Jan 1-3 $100,000 Pai-Gow Tournament

    Feb 1-7 $30,000 Blackjack Tournament

    Feb 9-11 $100,000 3 Card Poker Tournament

    March 5-7 $100,000 Blackjack Tournament

    March 8-10 $30,000 Blackjack Tournament

    March 27-29 $30,000 Craps Tournament

Keep in mind that a $25,000 Sunset Station Blackjack tournament is scheduled for the evenings of March 6-7 which will not conflict with the Hilton's tournament during the same time period. The Hilton Play times will be during the day of March 6 and 7th.

I'm in the process of bringing back the old Frontier tournaments and will schedule it for March 4-5 if a venue is secured.

This will allow players to play in 4 Blackjack tournaments in one week while in Las Vegas.

Some of the players who have been around for a while will remember the old days of coming into town and playing at least 2 to 3 tournaments in one weekend and running back and forth between casinos.

If I accomplish my plan there will be no conflicts between any of these 4 tournaments. If you include the Sunset Station Thursday night tournament and stay till March 12 you will be able to play in 6 Tournaments in one week.

Keep your fingers crossed that I can pull this off.

For any players who have never played the Frontier tournament its a very skillful format with a live money $300 buy-in with bettting ranges of $5-$100 with surrender out of a 6 deck shoe. Rebuys are offered and some of the prize pools at the Frontier were as high as $30,000 for first place.Payouts were made down to semi final player also.

All money won at the tables during tournament play are kept by the player.

Entry fees were $300 rebuys were $150

Players bought into their rounds with $300 cash

Any suggestion or input is welcome.
